How it works
- Every app starts with a Decibel score. Seeded once from its existing rating and play count — nobody starts at zero, and after that the score only moves when someone pays to move it.
- 🔊 Turn it up, or 🔉 turn it down. Pick any app, pick how many dB, and pay — turning an app up is a gift to it, turning one down docks its score. Prices differ for up vs. down. Scores are floored at 0 either way.
- Rank follows the score. Highest dB at the top of Rankings, live. There's no separate "vote" — the dB total *is* the rank.
- 🔦 Spotlight is a different, separate thing. Five paid slots at the very top of the homepage, priced per day by rank (rank 1 costs more than rank 5). A Spotlighted app keeps its own dB rank in the list below at the same time — Spotlight is placement, not points.
- Pay, then send your screenshot. Submitting gives you a request ID — pay that amount to our UPI ID, then send the screenshot on WhatsApp with your request ID so it can be matched and confirmed.
- We review by hand. No payment gateway here — the site owner checks your screenshot against their own UPI history and approves it manually, usually within a day. Track the result any time in "Your requests" above; a rejected request shows the reason and can be edited and resent.
Can I turn down an app I don't like?
Yes — anyone can pay to dock any app's dB, same as boosting. It's reviewed by hand the same way boosting is, and scores can never go below 0.
Does Spotlight affect an app's dB or rank in the list?
No — Spotlight is a separate paid placement at the top of the homepage. A Spotlighted app's Decibel score and its position in Rankings work exactly the same as any other app's.
What happens when a Spotlight slot expires?
It just stops showing in the carousel once its paid days are up — nothing else changes, and the slot opens up for the next request at that rank.
Why was my request rejected, and what happens to my money?
This site never touches your payment directly — you only pay after seeing your request ID, and we only mark a request approved after manually checking your screenshot. If a request is rejected, no charge should have gone through on our end for it; if you already paid before hearing back, message us on WhatsApp with your request ID.
